Here, we'd like to highlight our counterparts, collaborators, and stakeholders who have worked across time zones and across disciplines to bring this vision to life. Furthermore, we'd like to take this opportunity to thank our professor, Dr. Pete Schwartz for providing the introduction & consistent mentorship throughout. Our collective goal, now and moving forward, is to incorporate the evolving needs of Malawian people into the Insulated Solar Electric Cooker design to appropriately calibrate its use for those affected by an over-encumbered power grid & de-forested landscape.

Meet The Team

Henry David Miller (He/Him/His)

Experience Industry Management (EIM) with a Concentration in Tourism, Hospitality & Destination Mgmt.

Alycia Darby

Architectural Engineering (ARCE)

Marilynn Vega

Environmental Protection & Management (ENVM) with a Concentration in Hydrology & Watershed Mgmt.

Business Administration (B.A.)

Malawi Team Coordinator

Educated at the University of Lomé in Togo, Salma provided priceless mentorship to the Cal Poly Student Team as we fine-tuned which innovations best suited the immediate needs of the current & proposed benefactors.

Chikoti is a metaphysician at Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS). He is an experienced Lecturer with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry.
